SMBworks resells select third-party services for hosting and domains, at a competitive rate. Any or all these supporting services may be bundled into a single, recurring charge and may be combined with related Supporting services in the Digital campaigns category.
You have a treasure trove of data: product information, sales figures, customers and leads, etc. If yours is like many companies, you have collections of data in different forms (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Access, Google Sheets), owned by various people. We can work together to convert and consolidate data sets for a multitude of uses, whether intended for your team, your customers, or both. Ultimately, the database will support a web app and/or API.
Basic site and page optimization is included in each Website design-build project package, following best practices. This includes planning keywords, editing copy, generating a sitemap, submitting to Google & Bing for indexing, etc. Optimization may be built into a website maintenance package, as well.
You have the option to handle the day-to-day or occasional content updates to your website, yourself. Add a photo, edit some copy on a page... it's up to you. On the other hand, you can bundle up photos and copy changes, and send them to SMBworks for publication on your website. We can make updates on an ad hoc (hourly) or subscription (monthly) basis.
Likewise, SMBworks can continue to add and enhance features of your web application or API post-launch. We can set up a release schedule to deploy requested updates as frequently as once a month, up to once a year.
Based on the resource needs of your website or application, SMBworks will offer one or more hosting options—from a single virtual server to multi-tier infrastructure. Hosting includes backup and restore capability, plus monitoring for any unexpected downtime.
Hosting for base plans is billed on an annual basis. For more complex setups, billing may be monthly and vary by the previous month's usage.
For your convenience, leave as much or as little of domain name management (i.e., registration, renewal, DNS management) to SMBworks as suits you. We can register a campaign-specific domain name for you and close it out at the end of the campaign. Registration includes privacy protection of your contact information, unless you direct otherwise.
